Data deletion
Last updated October 2, 2026
You can delete the information PostNinja holds about you at any time. Here are the ways to do it and what each one removes.
Delete your whole PostNinja account
Log in and go to Settings → Login & security, then Delete account. This permanently deletes your login and your workspace: every connected account and its tokens, your posts and drafts, uploaded photos and videos, API keys and statistics. It can't be undone.
Disconnect one social account
On the Accounts page, choose Disconnect next to the account. We delete its access tokens immediately, so we can no longer post to it or read from it. For X we also ask X to revoke our access.
Remove PostNinja from Instagram, Threads or Facebook
- Instagram: in the Instagram app or on instagram.com, go to Settings → Apps and websites, find PostNinja and remove it.
- Threads: go to Settings → Account → Website permissions, find PostNinja and remove it.
Meta tells us when you do this and we delete that account's access tokens straight away. If you also ask Meta to delete your data, we delete the connected account completely (profile details, tokens and statistics) and give you a confirmation code you can check on this page.
Remove PostNinja from X
On X, go to Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps, choose PostNinja and revoke access.
Ask us
Email support@postninja.app from the address on your account and tell us what you'd like deleted. We'll confirm once it's done, within 30 days at most.
Posts that were already published stay on the platforms they went to after you delete your data here. Delete them on the platform if you want them gone. More about how we handle your information is in our Privacy Policy.
