Terms of Service

1. The service

PostNinja lets you connect social media accounts (currently X, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest), write and schedule posts, publish them automatically, and see how they performed. It also offers a REST API and an MCP server so software and AI assistants can do the same on your behalf. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use PostNinja.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login, two-step codes and API keys secret. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including actions taken with your API keys.
• Tell us straight away at support@postninja.app if you think someone else has access to your account.

3. Connected platforms

When you connect a social account, you authorize PostNinja to publish and manage content on that account as you instruct. You confirm that you have the right to connect it.

• You must follow each platform's own terms and policies, including the X Terms of Service, the Instagram Terms of Use and the Threads Terms of Use, and those of Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest for the accounts you connect there.
• PostNinja uses YouTube API Services. If you connect a YouTube channel, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
• PostNinja is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X, Meta or any other platform. The platforms control their own services and APIs. They can change them, limit how often you can post, or suspend accounts, and we can't prevent that.
• You can disconnect an account at any time from the Accounts page, or remove PostNinja's access in the platform's settings.

4. Your content

You own the posts, text and media you put into PostNinja. You give us a limited, worldwide licence to store, copy, process and transmit that content only as needed to run the service for you, for example to show previews and to send it to the platforms you choose. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies the platforms already hold.

You're responsible for your content and must have the rights to publish it. You confirm it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or break any law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PostNinja to:

• send spam, or post repetitive, duplicate or unsolicited content at scale;
• manipulate platforms, for example fake engagement, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, or evading a platform's limits or bans;
• publish anything illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually exploitative, or that infringes intellectual property;
• impersonate anyone or mislead people about who is posting;
• distribute malware or attack, overload, probe or scrape PostNinja or the platforms;
• get around our plans, credits, rate limits or security measures, or access accounts that aren't yours;
• resell or provide PostNinja to others as your own service without our written permission.

We may remove content from our systems, stop posts from going out, or suspend accounts that break these rules or put the service or our access to the platforms at risk.

6. Plans, credits and payments

• Plan features, account limits and prices are shown on the Plan & billing page. Prices may exclude taxes, which we'll add where required.
• Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. When you cancel, your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for and then stops renewing.
• Credits pay for posts to X, because X charges us for each one. Each X account a post goes to uses credits, and posts with links cost more. The current costs are shown on the Plan & billing page and in the composer before you schedule.
• Monthly credits included with a plan reset each month and don't carry over. Extra credits you buy don't expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and aren't refundable except where the law requires.
• If a post fails or you cancel it before it goes out, the credits it used are returned to your balance.
• We may change prices or credit costs, for example if a platform changes what it charges us. We'll give you notice before a price change affects your plan.

7. Publishing isn't guaranteed

We work hard to publish every post at the time you set, but posting depends on the platforms and on networks we don't control. A post may go out late, or not at all, because of platform outages, rate limits, rejected content, expired logins or other problems. We'll show each post's status and the reason if it fails. Please don't rely on PostNinja for anything where a missed or late post would cause serious harm.

8. API and MCP

Use of the API and MCP server is covered by these terms. Keep API keys secret, respect the rate limits, and don't use the API to do anything you couldn't do in the app. We may revoke keys that are leaked or misused.

9. Suspension and ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Login & security. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your use creates legal or security risk, or if we have to by law. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first. If we stop offering PostNinja altogether, we'll give you reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimers

PostNinja is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises about the service beyond those in these terms, including that it will always be available, error-free, or suit a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms affects rights you have as a consumer that can't be changed by contract.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, followers, data or goodwill, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. We don't exclude or limit liability that can't be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using PostNinja after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction over disputes. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims in its courts.
